Kentucky State Fair (8/17-8/27) $10, includes parking

The Big Stomp (8/18-8/19) $59-200
Located on a beautiful 90-acre private nature preserve adjacent to Louisville’s renowned Parklands, The Big Stomp is a festival that stomps the mental health stigma. The immersive, multi-day experience takes a fresh, inclusive, modern approach, with social activities and mindful programming, we provide education, awareness, and resilience tools.

Up, Up and Away at Maples Park (8/19) FREE
This is a bucket list item for all those height seekers! Come out to the Maples Park for a FREE first come, first serve hot air balloon tether ride and listen to the cool sounds of Billy Goat Strut Revue ALL sponsored by our friends and supporters at Baptist Health. Food trucks will be in attendance!

3rd Annual African American Golf Expo and Forum (8/19-22) $99-150
Come to the Galt House Hotel and learn about the jobs, careers, and supplier diversity opportunities in this $192 Billion marketplace for African Americans. There will be exhibits, learning/networking sessions, and a special showing of the movie “Playing Through” about the life of Ann Gregory, the greatest black female golfer of the 20th century. Play in the Golf Scramble and attend Breakout Sessions meeting the Golf Industry leaders from all backgrounds. This is the event to attend whether you are just starting out in the game and industry or if you are a veteran.

WorldFest 2023 (9/1-9/4) FREE
The four-day WorldFest features three entertainment stages showcasing more than 70 acts, along with a Global Village representing more than 20 countries, free children’s activities, a Parade of Cultures and more. The festival also features more than 40 food vendors and over 100 booths offering global crafts, merchandise and culture within the GE Appliances World Hub.

Big Four Arts Festival 2023 (9/9-9/10) $5
The Big Four Arts Festival consists of four acres of tree-lined walks overlooking the Ohio River, located at the Big 4 Walking Bridge at Waterfront Park. It features over 150 juried artists, craftsman, jewelers, artisans, and demonstration artists. You’ll also be able to enjoy live music, food trucks, and beer, wine or cocktails!
